Zahoor Raja or simply, Raj to all his customers can proudly boast to being involved in the Indian Restaurant Industry for over forty years and is still going strong!

Over this time Raj has worked far and wide bringing Indian Cuisine to places such as Central London, Bradford and Preston.

Raj was one of the first Restauranteurs to bring the curry to Reading. Many people will remember, "The Raj" and "The Boozy Blues Bar", his first venture in the town.

The Gulshan was to follow and has remained Reading's premiere Indian Restaurant for the last eighteen years, with no sign of that changing!
